IFYO LEVEL 1 Comprehensive Online Teacher Training Integral Fascial Yoga
Fascial Yoga combines current findings from fascia research and fascia training with the ancient, deep wisdom of yoga.
Even though classic asana practice already addresses the fascia, you can address the myofascial connective tissue even more specifically, train it and keep it healthy through certain modifications to the asanas and the use of the fascia roller.
The white, fibrous fascia network runs through the entire body as a “tissue of unity and connection” and requires special stimuli to remain healthy and lubricated. It runs through and envelops every muscle, every organ and the entire surface of the body, but also forms the tendons, ligaments and organ capsules and is crucial for body perception. Fascia needs stimulation and variety. If you don't move your body appropriately or in a very one-sided manner, the structures begin to change structurally: they literally stick together and become matted, which can lead to restricted mobility and even pain and other complaints.
Each of these fascial structures needs different stimulation impulses - in addition to a deep understanding of the connections between fascial anatomy and physiology, you will learn in particular the 8 principles of fascia yoga and how you can specifically incorporate these training impulses into your yoga classes without your yoga class becomes a fitness workout.

Content
The training is divided into 15 modules, each of which includes theory and a lot of practice. For each module you will receive 1 theory video (30-60 min), 1 complete yoga practice on the topic (60 min), as well as 3-5 shorter videos on the teaching technique of various exercises. Each lesson contains impulses for implementation and reflection so that you can incorporate what you have learned directly into your lessons. Community Verified icon.
You start independently according to your schedule. Ideally, you do one lesson per week, but you can also go faster or slower.
You have the option to book 4 online 1:1 sessions (30 minutes each) with me if you would like to finish with a certificate and/or would like direct feedback on your own exercise execution. This is optional, you can also “just” consume the content for yourself, but in this case you will only receive a confirmation of participation at the end, not a certificate.
